About our award-winning business
Discover Wines Ltd. opened July 22, 2003 in Kelowna, BC and was the number one VQA Store for sales in the Province of British Columbia, and was for thirteen years. Our second location opened April 25, 2013 in Kamloops, BC. We brought the winery experience by offering complimentary tastings at our tasting counter all day every day, and acted as a BC winery information and education centre. In January 2016, we closed our retail store locations as our licenses were transferred by the owners of the license, the British Columbia Wine Institute, into the grocery store wine-on-shelf model. This was part of the wine industry's desire to move VQA licenses into grocery stores. A heartfelt thank you to all our incredible team members and customers.
We closed Discover Wines Ltd. and opened small gift basket company, doing business as the same name. We do not have a retail location any longer and just hand make baskets one at a time as they are ordered.
